The HiveAnalyzer software supports evaluation of honey bee (apis mellifera) brood trials according to OECD 75 guideline. By its high degree of automation (automated honeycomb alignment, automated cell detection, and automated cell classification), the HiveAnalyzer highly facilitates brood stage assessment.

The software applies the visual analytics methodology combining the vast processing power of computers with the excellent recognition and reasoning capabilities of human experts. The HiveAnalyzer was designed and developed in close cooperation with a leading company in the area of semi-field honey bee trials. 

Its workflow allows for rapid and efficient honey bee brood logging and analysis. Data export capabilities (PDF, JSON and CSV) allow for further analysis in external statistics software (such as SPSS, SAS, or MS Excel) and provide reports ready for QA. Various consistency checks and a modern graphical user interface contribute to the usability and user-friendliness of the software. The HiveAnalyzer is available for Windows 11.
