SSL/TLS Encryption
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. Cookies
Our websites use so-called “cookies.” Cookies are small data packages and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (persistent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit ends. Persistent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or your web browser deletes them automatically.
Cookies may be set by us (first-party cookies) or by third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services provided by third-party companies within websites (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to evaluate user behavior or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required to carry out electronic communications, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g., the shopping cart function), or to optimize the website (e.g., cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is stated. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies to provide its services in a technically error-free and optimized manner. If consent for the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Sec. 25(1) TDDDG); consent may be withdrawn at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of the website—this requires the collection of server log files.
Contact Form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not disclose this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if such consent has been requested; consent may be withdrawn at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request erasure, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions—especially retention periods—remain unaffected.
Google Analytics
On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e., our interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about users’ use of the online offering is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield framework and thereby provided a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offering by users, to compile reports on activities within this online offering, and to provide us with further services related to the use of this online offering and internet usage. In doing so, pseudonymous user profiles may be created from the processed data.
We use Google Analytics only with IP anonymization activated. This means that Google shortens users’ IP addresses within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser will not be merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting their browser software settings; users can also prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offering and the processing of such data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Further information on Google’s use of data, settings, and objection options can be found in Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) as well as in the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).
Users’ personal data is deleted or anonymized after 14 months.
Google AdWords and Conversion Tracking
On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e., our interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), we use services provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield framework and thereby provided a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
We use the online marketing method Google “AdWords” to place ads in the Google advertising network (e.g., in search results, in videos, on websites, etc.) so that they are displayed to users who have a presumed interest in the ads. This allows us to display ads for and within our online offering in a more targeted manner, in order to present users only with ads that potentially match their interests. If, for example, a user is shown ads for products they have shown interest in on other online offerings, this is referred to as “remarketing.” For these purposes, when our and other websites on which the Google advertising network is active are accessed, Google executes a Google code directly and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also referred to as “web beacons”) are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie is stored on the user’s device, i.e., a small file (comparable technologies may also be used instead of cookies). This file records which websites the user has visited, which content they are interested in, and which offers the user has clicked, as well as technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit, and other information about the use of the online offering.
We also receive an individual “conversion cookie.” The information collected with the help of the cookie is used by Google to create conversion statistics for us. However, we only learn the anonymous total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page equipped with a conversion tracking tag. We do not receive any information that would allow users to be personally identified.
User data is processed pseudonymously within the Google advertising network. This means that Google does not store and process, for example, users’ names or email addresses, but processes the relevant data related to cookies within pseudonymous user profiles. This means that, from Google’s perspective, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the cookie holder, regardless of who that cookie holder is. This does not apply if a user has expressly allowed Google to process the data without such pseudonymization. The information collected about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google servers in the USA.
Further information on Google’s use of data, settings, and objection options can be found in Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) as well as in the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).

Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
reCAPTCHA is used to check whether the data entered on this website (e.g., in a contact form) is provided by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the website, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
The storage and analysis of the data is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings against abusive automated spying and against spam. If corresponding consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Sec. 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s end device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
